Overall Satisfaction with IBM Power Systems Virtual Server

When we needed offisite servers for a few of our internal apps and security we tried out IBM [Power Systems Virtual Server]. We keep access internal to our IT (obviously), but it's been much better than spinning up servers on site.
  • Quick Spin up time
  • Good User Experience and Interface
  • Great Support
  • Pricing isn't always a con but it can be. IBM is more expensive than Azure or AWS
  • Some API aren't very well fleshed out
  • The $1000/mo helps for getting started
  • Fewer Management Issues
Azure was shockingly more expensive of an option to go with. However, the extended cost didn't really translate to added benefit. We didn't need some of the features that were part of it.
