Overall Satisfaction with IBM Power servers

We are purchasing Power9 Servers to replace older IBM systems.

Pros

  • Performance, performance, performance
  • Reliability the system just runs

Cons

  • Can be expensive
  • It has allowed us to save software licensing cost as you can run higher workloads on less CPU.
Better performance and reliablity
It is well suited for large workloads and for workloads that need to be highly available.
