IBM Guardium came to meet the need for data access monitoring, including PCI scope, replacing another Tool that no longer supports our most up-to-date environment, in addition to giving us a greater possibility of monitoring with vulnerability assessment.

With GIM service it's easy to install and configure agents on database servers.
Guardium has an easy configuration and integration with QRADAR; with some clicks, you can start to generate alerts.
Easy to configure and supports the latest versions of OS like AIX 7.2.

It's a great tool due to ease of installation using Guardium Installation Manager, but needs some appliances restarted on AIX l, which in an environment with heavy processing may be a problem.
