SPSS Stat is incrediably valuable. The ability to add-on plugins like ARIMA & RFM to further the usage of the solution. SPSS is flexible enough for fims to "pivot" based on business requirements.
SPSS provides our firm a statical model framework that is consistent and accurate to help us soulve business problems. Having a single solution that everyone is huge from a acceptability.
SAS is a very good product. SPSS provided our firm everythinbg we needed and was well within our budget. Also know that IBM is contunusely investing into SPSS. The roadmaps looks good.
