Overall Satisfaction with IBM Watson Assistant

IBM Watson Assistant provides great guidance through IBM cloud. It lessens the time to get help from Technical Support since it already has the answers that we usually ask.
  • Lessens technical support interaction because of very helpful interface
  • Free yet still provides advanced features
  • Easy to implement and embed applications
  • Users need to understand the interface and terminologies
  • For me it has some learning curve to the user, needs background in data analytics
  • There are times that it is unclear when to connect my API
  • Cost savings because it's free
  • Automation improve productivity
  • No need to code and you already have your chatbot
You just need a general idea of data analytics and you can make use of this solution. No programming skills are needed. This is really useful to network engineers like me that have ideas in these kinds of fields. I highly recommend it to my colleagues that need the solution that IBM Watson Assistant offers.
Generally, users get frustrated when they are talking to a bot and want to talk to a customer service representative. With IBM Watson Assistant, users were able to get the information that they need with just a click of a button. Voice and text integration is already relevant to people with disabilities.
I just have a general idea that ServiceNow Now Platform is their competitor but I haven't used it. It is available for us to use in the company but we haven't tried it due to time constraints. Will provide my comment once we use it and compare it with IBM Watson Assistant.

The bot is very easy to implement. It provides deep automation and integration to our system which definitely adds value even though it is free. (I tried the premium version and it adds various recommendations with the support). I don't think there aren't any less appropriate in regards to the system. It's just that new users will find a hard time grasping but after some time and practice it will be easy to use.
