Overall Satisfaction with IBM webMethods

I am Integration Architect and lead the IBM webMethods integration team for one of our client

Pros

  • B2B Trading Network
  • Universal messging
  • Integration Server

Cons

  • BPM
  • iPaas
  • Ease of using connectors
  • Ci/cd and version control
  • Ease of doing development
B2B and EDI integration
Api management and managed file transfer
IBM webMethods lags in terms of iPass offering as compared to mulesoft and dell Boomi. In terms of api management Apigee is much better than webMethods.

No

Did IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration live up to sales and marketing promises?

Did implementation of IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration again?

IBM webMethods is doing good in doing integration as ESB layer. It has good robust stable integration platform with help of integration server and universal messaging. B2B integration using Trading Network is I think one of the full stack offering in current market.
