Overall Satisfaction with Indeed Hiring Platform
Hospitality Company with 3 Restaurants experiencing staffing needs: We were experiencing staffing challenges, particularly with our Food and Beverage positions. We had posted the positions on multiple job boards and recruiting platforms and were not having very much luck filling our many open positions. We hosted an Indeed hiring event targeting specifically our need to fill Food and Beverage positions. We had 234 RSVPs and had 51 people show up which was pretty good results. Of the 51 that showed, we offered positions to 8 people which will have a huge positive impact on our operation. We also post our positions individually on Indeed but the hiring event really helped us get a large amount of people hired in a short amount of time.

- ability to set RSVP limits for specific interview times so that if 1 time is getting too many you can close it while still keeping the other interview times open
- we advertised for multiple properties, it would be nice to be able to specify which property each position was at
- Had 7 open job types (total of about 15 open positions) were able to fill 8 of the positions
- Filling 8 open positions enables us to reopen our restaurant to all 3 meal periods (has been limited to only 1 meal period 7 days a week, 2 meal periods on the weekends) since the pandemic
- Cost was about $1400 but were able to fill positions that had been posted for months for which we had received very few applicants
We didn't use any other hiring platforms. Had posted on field specific job boards, social media, and websites.
