Overall Satisfaction with Infor CloudSuite ERP

Infor handles the following areas in our business: Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain, parts, service, sales. We also use it's addon products such as factory track for warehouse management and mobile field service for managing field service work. It facilitates data accessibility between departments and eliminates data silos. It is the primary system across our organization.

Pros

  • all in one solution
  • uptime and performance
  • ability to integrate with other systems.

Cons

  • integration is challenging and requires advanced knowledge
  • user interface is complicated by default
  • too many panels for a single process
  • Faster warehouse picking response time
  • faster and more accurate field service billing
  • integration to our primary vendors for accurate and live costing
Overall, it is very usable. Nothing is perfect of course but with training, the system is very usable and scalable. It can be tailored so that users only see the screens and data they need to perform their job and not get overwhelmed with too complicated of an interface. This does take work to make happen though.
Infor CloudSuite is much easier in my opinion to understand and get up and running. All ERPs are complex... but Infor was less complex than SAP. Infor had prebuilt processes for our industry that we could start with and then tweak and adjust further for our specific needs. Much easier than SAP in my opinion.

Infor Cloudsuite is well suited for Heavy Equipment dealers and companies involved in equipment rental. It also supports several other industries, but I am not as versed on those. It is very customizable and can be tailored to most any business. It has several tools to integrate with other systems albeit they take some advanced knowledge and skill to use successfully.
