Overall Satisfaction with Infor ERP
It is being used mostly by the back office. We run the financial suite which contains billing, order entry and warehousing. Basically we use it for the Order to Invoice process.
- Ability to use processflow to streamline processes, I can't think of something that other ERPs don't do, Info just does it differently.
- Security.
- Code simplicity, Cobol is an ancient programming language, they need to move on with newer technologies.
- On Infor 10+ they need to move away from SharePoint, it's not a user friendly framework, the portal wasn't neither.
We might move away from Infor, the business is growing and Infor Lawson is no longer fit to the business, so we are in the process of evaluating other ERPs.
