Overall Satisfaction with Infosec IQ

Infosec IQ is primarily used as a training tool for IT security within the organization.

Pros

  • Trains users on how to identify threats
  • Teaches an employee on what to do when faced with malware
  • Simplified information on cybersecurity so users can better understand the threat
  • So many topics to choose from the content library
  • Training lessons are customizable to fit users

Cons

  • The individualized grading system that we can send out to users at the end of the year through their emails so that they can monitor their progress and to encourage them more to improve on their skills
  • Individualized analysis of a user's performance on a monthly or annual basis so that they can see their weak points
  • Graduated learning modules to keep them interested and motivated (ex. they start as basic learners at the beginning then level up to more advanced skills, then finish as an expert at the end of the year)
  • Learners are more aware now of cybersecurity threats and are able to identify them
  • They know what to do when faced with attacks

Support is quick to respond and always available. They are courteous, very patient, and highly knowledgable in their field. Follow-up emails from account managers are done monthly to monitor performance and program success.

As the administrator, the software is very easy to use. Help topics are provided within the software if you get stuck. Setting up a ticket is easy and response is quick from tech support.
Pricing per user is reasonable for an annual contract. Not a bad investment considering that phishing emails and other threats are popping up daily in our users email accounts. Imagine if they did not know how to identify threats and how to be more careful in clicking links, it would have a been a far more expensive endeavor to recover from a network attack.
Infosec IQ is best suited when used for the IT orientation of new hires as it defines how to keep the network safe while working in an office environment. It explains the company's IT policy in a simplified way. However, we do monthly training so some users who have worked in our company for a longer time comment that they are learning the same topics repetitively.
