Overall Satisfaction with InMotion Hosting
I use InMotion Hosting to build websites and other online services for my business clients. All our clients' websites are on my VIP account. Having an affordable hosting package is wonderful for my small rural business because my clients are hands-off when it comes to the website. Before InMotion I had several hosting companies I was using, but InMotion got an affordable price plan and kept all the websites and online stores I've created in one place.
Pros
- Customer Support is one reason I use InMotion Hosting.
- When I call InMotion I get someone I can talk to, and not a support person reading off a screen.
Cons
- They could use better tutorials.
- I'd like for there to be a better community forum.
- Their support chat has saved hours of work when something goes wrong
- The pricing packages helped a great deal.
The two companies I've used before InMotion are no longer in business.
The support is why I've stayed with InMotion for the last 7 years. I've had only a couple of issues with support, which I emailed support managers about, and got my issues figured out. I don't use their support a lot but I like that I can email, chat or call. Depending on the issue I email or chat. I always like the fact that support is not copy and pasting answers on the chat. They actually talk to you instead of reading off a screen.

When I have an issue, I can go on their support chat and fix an issue rather than have them send me the instructions. It wasn't really a hosting issue, but they fix my problem anyways.
