Overall Satisfaction

  • Intacct has exception reporting capabilities. This system allows users to customize and design their own reports in every module.
  • Intacct is laid out nicely and is user friendly. Some ERP software is difficult to learn, but Intacct is rather self-explanatory.
  • Intacct integrates directly with the Salesforce platform and many others!
  • I have noticed basic accounting functionality missing from the AP/AR modules such as the ability to undo an applied credit or modify header information on a converted transaction.
  • The Order Entry module does not display financial data in the list view. This would be very helpful.
  • Sometimes the screen flow can seem a bit wacky. For example, when I convert a purchase order to a purchase order invoice, I would prefer if Intacct took me back to the Purchase Order screen so that I can continue entering bills. Instead, I am directed to the purchase order invoice screen.
  • Our accounting team has gained numerous efficiencies since our conversion to Intacct. We can easily view account history and see how each transaction is related.
  • It does seem as if Intacct was designed without notes in mind. All of your accounting functionality exists, for the most part, but the system does not come standard with open notes fields. We had them customer added during our integration.
We spent months and a whole lot of money moving into this system. They did a lot of work customizing the system to meet our needs specifically, which we really appreciated! We now have a cloud-based accounting system perfectly designed for our needs. Our Intacct is not quite like anyone else's. Overall, I am impressed with the system and will happily continue using it!
