Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Enterprise Suite

Our organization uses Intuit Enterprise Suite to analyze our business results using multiple dimensions for our operating segments. We also rely on the enhanced capabilities of IES to seamlessly consolidate our parent and subsidiary information for reporting purposes. These are both features that were previously unavailable to our organization under QuickBooks Online Advanced.

Pros

  • Online bill payment to our vendors is easy to complete.
  • Online payment processing helps us quickly receive money from our customers.
  • AI Forecasting and Reports helps us better understand changes in our business than just reviewing the normal dashboard data.

Cons

  • Sometimes the AI assignment of transactions on our bank activity do not match and requires additional review.
  • We would like to see the ability to expand dimensional reporting to the balance sheet.
  • More detail is needed for API connections related to IES specific features that are not present in QuickBooks Online.
  • We saved approximately $5k this year from using Intuit bill payment from our previous provider.
  • Switching to IES for credit card processing saved us approximately $48K.
  • We save approximately 2.5 hours per week using Intuit bill payment.
The overall package is very user friendly for day-to-day tasks. Results are and dashboards are very easy to see from our dashboard. We struggle sometimes when trying to make personal customizations or when dealing with report writing. Also, the AI assistant has taken some getting used to in our everyday work when trying to find value.
While some of the features found in larger ERP systems are not fully integrated yet into IES, we found the value proposition to be the key factor in our purchase consideration. As a smaller organization, we could not handle the costly implementation or ongoing IT maintenance needs of a much larger product suite. IES provides us with a simplified way to consolidate and report our multiple entities while retaining the easy to use and familiar interface of QuickBooks Online.

Intuit Enterprise Suite is a perfect step up for an organization that is already invested in the QuickBooks online ecosystem. The transition was seamless for us as our company data and records migrated with no need for an expensive implementation team or planning process. Consolidation and multidimensional reporting are great. Inventory management and multistate tax exemption certificate management are still areas that we would like to see improved to help us better consolidate all of our services into one platform.
