Overall Satisfaction with JobBOSS²

We use JobBOSS2 in all areas of our business, from accounting to inventory management to shop floor control. We were looking for a better analysis of shop production and a system to help us streamline jobs and resources.

Pros

  • Great reports.
  • Training and tech support.
  • Job process is laid out in a logical, accountable way.

Cons

  • Report designer could be more user-friendly.
  • Better explanation of month-end journal entries that are needed for financial reports.
  • We were able to better capture the true costs of manufacturing that we couldn't do with Quickbooks.

Evaluating JobBOSS² and Competitors

Yes - We used Quickbooks prior to JobBOSS2, and we did not get near good enough analysis of our processes to ensure we were being profitable.
  • Ease of Use
We didn't want to get into anything too complicated. However, JobBOSS2 can get into some fairly detailed analysis depending on the report that is designed.

JobBOSS² Support

The initial training leaves a little to be desired because it's done by people who know the generalities of the system. However, once you get into one-on-one trainings and tech support calls, they do a tremendous job in these aspects. They go above and beyond to make sure you get what you need.
