Overall Satisfaction with Joule

I would start off with using Joule for developers to assist the ABAP coders, this can reduce the development effort for my team. It was amazing how Joule could give the code for the requirement that i shared as prompt, it was very easy to use. I look forward for such amazing functionalities.

Cons

  • It needs to play the role of enhancement finder
  • I expect more of Industry specific knowledge like Insurance, Banking
  • Needs to support on-premise customers

Best suited for requirements where the developer is looking for a quick code, even for a configurator who is looking for quick configuration code in IMG, it is even good for techno-functional consultants who are looking for a fit & gap analysis. I see the fit for Insurance module is not that good
GitHub is not SAP specific, but Joule can do much more than GitHub Copilot
