Overall Satisfaction with Kindsight iWave

I utilize Kindsight iWave to conduct research or find more information about a certain person, company, or a company's other business locations outside of its headquarters. I work professionally in corporate fundraising, so I love the feature about being able to see a company's philanthropic giving, giving to certain industries/organizations, and even the level of that giving. Additionally, I like that I can find an individual person I'm trying to contact, and even though I don't have a lot of personal information to type-in and find that person within Kindsight iWave, I can use other auxilliary information to track down that person, find his/her email and title, and then follow up if I want. It's a great tool and is super helpful in research and prospecting.

Pros

  • Research
  • Prospecting
  • Company outreach
  • Philanthropic Giving data
  • Employee titles

Cons

  • Integration with platforms like Outlook, LinkedIn, CRM software
  • Ability to send messages or outreach within Kindsight iWave website itself
  • Using other web links to try and identify a person or company within Kindsight iWave
  • Ability to identify 5 more "warm" prospects for outreach
  • Ability to use tools to research philanthropic giving from company prospects
  • Putting trust in a person's listed email, title, and tenure at their currently listed company
I think it's very usable, but think the variety of different search functions, search by features can get confusing and overwhelm the user. I would prefer a "master" search function instead of having the user need to figure out to search by company name, employee's name, employee's title, etc. The website is a great resource and my team utilizes its uses often.
I liked previewing WealthEngine and its feature to identify high-net-worth individuals, but believe Kindsight iWave has more robust features and ability to identify middle-managers/lower level employees despite not being 'high net worth'. I generally work with middle to lower-end employees within my company clients, so getting a larger and more 'full' list of employees is helpful through Kindsight iWave.

Do you think Kindsight iWave delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Kindsight iWave's feature set?

Yes

Did Kindsight iWave live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Kindsight iWave go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Kindsight iWave again?

Yes

I was traveling to Dallas, Texas to meet with a client, and while traveling to Dallas, I wanted to find and identify 3-5 other prospects or companies to potentially meet with while traveling to Dallas. I was able to track down companies that donated to similiar organizations, based in the Dallas area, and was able to specify companies with a certain threshold or number of current employees, which can often be an indicator of giving potential.
