Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus

In our organization, we needed something to train and then test our users to be more aware of what to look for with incoming email, files, etc. We needed to create a Cyber Aware culture so our users would pay attention--- and not send our company to the front page of the news. Went from a very high percentage of users that would click on a bad email to a very low percentage.- that is a huge success!!

Pros

  • Phish RIP
  • give us in IT a way to look at reported emails
  • Just general training - making users more aware of what could be a problem email - both for work and at home

Cons

  • We have a dedicated person that helps us with questions-- if have a problem, we ask that person. I really feel that the product and execution of said product is about as good as it can be????
  • I don't think you can put a correct ROI as if this product stops a bit of nastiness that would have taken down the company, then the product is priceless
  • we are constantly receiving bad emails, it is great to have a tool that the user can click to send it to IT to look
  • the training is a great way to make users more aware- the more aware they are, the less likely they cause a nasty problem-- can still happen but I feel we are much better off than what we were.
I do not know of a way that we could sift through ever email of each user- with this and other tools we use, we can do just that. now with plus product we are even getting domain level protection in that if it finds a bad domain being used for nastiness, it is blocked
we are using the blocklist and RIP currently. we have not used the flip.
I feel we are that much safer being able to stop things being sent to us from known bas sources
we have not looked at other products

with this product, users are made aware of what not to do and generally creates an atmosphere of being careful both at work and at home. if someone creates a mess at home, they are going to be investing time and money into cleaning that up and not being at work. kind of a win/win.
