Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)

We use Kofax Power PDF to OCR, edit and combine PDF documents. We also use it to compare contracts and other documents with their original versions.

  • Converting PDFs to other formats.
  • User interface.
  • Editing.
  • Cost savings.
  • Time savings.
Power PDF is a little more difficult to learn than its competitors platform. However, it offers the same and more in terms of features.
Kofax offers a perpetual license so it is a much more competitive option. The features that come with Kofax Power PDF are usually more expensive with other vendors, especially Adobe.
I haven't been in contact with support, I can't comment.

We've been using Power PDF for years, the most recent version has been a big improvement. The biggest advantage we've had in using this has been the comparison feature. It's a great tool to see what changes have been made in a contract, lease or other document.
