Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)

I use it as my default pdf program. The feature most valuable is being able to convert documents into Excel letting me avoid duplicating data entry. Along with the conversion to word or excel feature saving time and work on my end, i am able to reconfigure or combine pdf documents as well. The software application is easily usable and valuable in the productivity of my administrative tasks.

Cons

  • Some editing features could be easier to locate or intuitive.
  • Conversion quality needs improvement (although good overall).
  • Time savings from converting documents.
  • Makes me look professional to have documents combined.
  • Allows me to personalize pdf's.
It is cost effective and overall easy to use. The newer version from the Nuance version took a bit of time to adjust as things changed or moved. Compared to other pdf editing suites this was cost valued oriented and provided a lot of benefits for the dollars spent. The program does a wide variety of functions and is easy to use overall.
Nuance is the only pdf writer I have used for editing or converting. It has proven valuable as it has saved a quantifiable amount of time and allowed me to do things efficiently right on a pdf. As pdf format is the standard, the ability to edit and convert has been quite functional.
The support was easy to get too and understand. Any time i have reached out to Kofax or looked for info it has been easy to obtain. Most things can be found through help section or through intuitively looking through the different functions at the top of the page and trying them.

The converting feature and editing / highlighting within documents. I will also add a logo or footer and adjust or change the page ranges. I also use frequesntly the combine feature. This allows me to send 1 pdf instead of multiple attachments - which might be more confusing to the user on the other end.
Easy to use when creating or converting pdf's. Very functional as my default pdf reader as all the functionalities are immediately available to use when a pdf document is opened up. Can easily use the suite of functions if you choose right away or convert or adjust something immediately making the app very functional.

I very much enjoy the simple functionality of the Kofax pdf. It always includes features that are practical everyday to make working with pdf's easier and more functional. I can combine, rearrange, convert to other useable formats at the touch of a button saving an enormous amount of time and energy.
