Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)

We use Power PDF as our primary PDF editor across our business. It is used to put together pdfs from multiple sources as enclosures for the reports that we write as well as the pdf printer to print our documents to pdf.
  • Edits PDFs
  • Prints PDFs
  • Converts documents to PDF
  • UI Overall - only the colour has changed over the years
  • Performance improvements - optimising / editing large PDFs can get slow
  • Thumbnails flash as you scroll down. These should pre-load and stay loaded.
  • We edit PDFs often
  • We make money from reports put together with PDFs
  • PDFs are the defacto standard, so we need a PDF editor.
Power PDF is easy to use with a little bit of practice.
Haven't really used the support.

Putting PDFs together...
Do you need to edit PDFs? It works well. Do you edit large PDFs? It works well, but can be sluggish. Do you not need to edit PDFs and just look at them? You don't need it. Simple.
