Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)
To prepare client reports which required consolidation of information into one reporting package. Also utilized to smaller PDF documents that needed to be combined.
- Very easy to use. An intuitive software.
- Bookmarking is a breeze.
- Editing error / pages that need to be deleted very easy.
- Easy to extract pages as needed.
- Footer and headers are not difficult to insert. Easy page numbering.
- Allowing for overlay / underlay function on a page. Good for adding color pages or making page numbers more clear.
- Positive: Work efficiency.
- Positive: Good tool to help create detailed, attractive and complete reports valued by clients.
- Positive: Great capability of file size reduction so the report can be transmitted as one volume thus reducing client confusion.
My experience has been positive. I used other products that were not as easy to navigate and found other functions in the competing products that were frustrating, such a changing page numbers or updating bookmarks. The benefit to me is less frustration because I am able to move through my work easily and quickly. Also for the team, contributes to consistence in product look and feel.
At first I was resistant to using Kofax but once I learned how to use Kofax, I could not understand why I did not start sooner. A super easy software to organize files one wants to consolidate.

Use Cute PDF Pro. I found Kofax Power to much easier to navigate and use. From adding an electronic signature, to page numbers to bookmarks. Although I do like the overlay and underlay function in Cute PDF Pro.

Highlight so that I can quickly direct attention. Strike through for edits, text box for when I want to give flexibility for my audience to add information, typewriter, footers because I like page numbers, make searchable so if I need to reference something quickly I don't have to read through pages of context. That is really helpful for the legal documents in what what I do.
