Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance Power PDF)
We use Kofax Power PDF to share CAD files in simple and much-reduced file sizes for construction documents, drawings, field production orders, and virtually any document we'd like to share internally or with customers. We are able to quickly and easily execute redlines and change orders. Typically, we can make immediate field changes as opposed to requiring expensive CAD software to make a simple field change.
Pros
- Mark-up and redlines
- Small file size
- Creation - easy as selecting the PDF printer to create and publish a document
- Navigating the various features is intuitive.
Cons
- Field identification or form recognition for more quickly identifying a form and making it easier to implement
- I don't have a way to quantify this.
- I do know Kofax Power PDF is a fraction of the cost and just as feature-rich as Acrobat or other PDF editors.
It is exceptionally intuitive. I rarely need to provide any of our users tech support or training.
Acrobat is expensive and Kofax has all the features that I need at a fraction of the cost. It is very feature-rich for the value.
