Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance Power PDF)

We use Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance Power PDF) to help edit PDF files. We have been using it to split large PDFs into smaller files.
  • Easy to use
  • Similar UI to Microsoft products
  • Does what we need it to do by splitting PDFs
  • Maybe create a centrally managed server for the software
  • Offer an MSI installer for group policy deployment
  • It has helped save time by being able to split PDFs automatically without scanning in each individual file we need.
It was easy to use and it is a benefit to me because I don't have a lot of support calls coming in with issues my users are having.
We have used Adobe Acrobat for some users who needed the full capabilities it offered. Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance Power PDF) is a good choice because it is a cheaper alternative and performed the tasks that we needed it to.
I've never had to call support for help with this product. It works well and is simple enough not to need support.

The biggest reason we use Power PDF is to split and combine PDF files. I also use it to digitally sign certain documents, which is nice.
I think it is a cheaper alternative to Adobe Acrobat. While it may have fewer features, the features it provides are suitable for our company.
