Overall Satisfaction with KPMG Compliance Consulting
KPMG was brought in for a payroll and HR Compliance audit when the fintech startup I was working for was going through an acquisition/sale process. I was involved with providing payroll, payroll tax, personnel, benefits, and other human resources and additional financial data to KPMG for their due diligence process for the buyer.

- KPMG provided a 3rd party vetted interpretation of business numbers and processes, so both sides of the transaction felt comfortable
- KPMG was able to provide additional analysts and resources as needed to ensure timeliness on project deliverables.
KPMG was selected by the buyer but we did have input to and agree with the decision. I do know they also looked at Deloitte Compliance Consulting for the same project scope. I'm unaware if KPMG was chosen over Deloitte due to a pre-existing relationship or a budget/resourcing reason. There was a RFP process that was run by the buyer.
