Overall Satisfaction with LambdaTest

I used LambdaTest as a tester to test the product on different virtual devices. Which helps me to understand about how I can enhance the user experience of the product. Due to it cross browsing functionality I can test my product performance under different browser including to their version under one roof. Which is one of the great things I have seen and used so far. One of my biggest business problems has been resolved to create awareness in front of my clients about the actual product performance and visualization. Which creates trust and confidence in front of my client towards me and also motivates me to do such good work.

Pros

  • It provides a virtual device that acts as an actual device resolution. Due to that anyone can take a feel of how their product will behave and enact without using actual devices.
  • Another example is that it also provides a virtual browser with their latest version which helps to analysed the performance of the product.

Cons

  • As per my experience i would like to say about the performance issue specially when switching the device virtually
  • Another one which i would like to say about it like session timeout it occurs so quickly if person is inactive while watching and understanding the scenarios
  • One of the key issue which i feel is that about the documentation which sometimes maybe outdate or not provide the in depth info for automation features
  • One of the positive impacts it creates on my business is like reducing my testing time from 3 days to 1 day of the sprint cycle.
  • Another it reduces my cost of infrastructure in terms of real device to test the product. Which is also one of the positive notes for me.
  • One of the negative points or impacts created on my workflow is like me another team member has to wait for the test session due to the plan limitation.
I gave this rating because what I feel is that I shared, it gives a highly easy-to-use interface and makes cross-browser testing, along with testing on different devices, easily accessible. And another one the best ability I ike it about to test the product on a real device along with cross browsing which helps to reduce my testing time,and generate the report of bugs in quick way.
The reason I have selected LambdaTest is that earlier I have used BrowserStack in my workflow, but when I got to know from the industry expert about LambdaTest, then I explored it on my own, and I found that it's a very cost-effective and slightly more flexible for our project needs in terms of parallel execution of tests.

As per my experience, LambdaTest is best suited for cross-browser testing due to its providing all trending virtual browsers like Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, etc., along with their latest version. It also provides a flexibility of manual testing the product on different mobile devices which gives the actual user interface of the product for understanding the in depth info of the product.

It also helps to gain confidence in a product by finding bugs or User experience issues on different devices before we launch for end user usage.
5 - Actually, we have a small team of 5 people who manage LambdaTest, including the manual tester and automation tester. Devops engineer for maintaining our test CI/CD pipeline and QA lead who manages our test strategy and execution with the different product range by analysing the log of defects.

It gave it 7 scale recommendation because it almost solved my every problem regarding the cross browsing testing along with a virtual device for responsive testing.
