Overall Satisfaction with Lessonly
We use Lessonly primarily for Sales Enablement, though other departments have begun using it since implementation. We use it for two primary purposes.
- Weekly lessons: We send out a lesson each week, as a way to keep our team up to date on the most important topics. We focus on product updates, competitive updates, updates from the Marketing Team, new messaging, and pitch practices which the managers grade. Each section has questions to verify that the reps understand the content.
- Onboarding: We have a library of lessons that new reps take during the ramping process.
- Lessons are quick and easy to create.
- Simple user interface
- Administration is easy
- Syncs with Okta for user hierarchies
- User video recording functionality could be easier to use
- I would like the ability to record activities outside of Lessonly in the platform.
- Increased rep productivity
- Decreased ramp time
- LearnCore and MindTickle
This was the fourth LMS evaluation and purchase in my career. I've purchased LMSes in a variety of settings, including a K-12 school, a couple of small high growth companies, and a division of one of the largest technology companies in the world. When it came time to purchase an LMS at my current company (high growth startup), the primary criteria were:
- Ease of use (drives adoption)
- Ease of content creation
- Ease of administration (small enablement team administering the product)
