Overall Satisfaction with Linode

Linode is used by us to provide reliable web hosting services to our clients, including hosting on-demand media content and operating online stores. The reliability of their services is why we choose them. In the 10 years we've used their service, we have only experienced downtime once.
  • Reliability: 100% uptime in the last many years.
  • Easy to use: The admin tools are easy to use and there are lots of documentation.
  • Competitive pricing: You can't find this kind of pricing in any other enterprise-grade services.
  • There aren't areas that I could think of.
  • Return on investment: The low costs puts more money back in our pockets (us and the clients).
  • Reliability: Customers choose us because we can manage 100% availability easily with Linode.
  • Data privacy: Linode has data centers all over the world where our customers are.
Linode's cost is a fraction compared to Azure and Amazon. Additionally, the bandwidth and throughput of the machines on the Linode network is also better.
Linode services are all well documented. Of the times where I needed to interact with their support, they have been very responsive and helpful.
The TCO of us running all of our services on Linode has helped us gain very competitive economics that we can offer our customers. We tried other web services, but the reliability and performance is simply not there so we are very happy that we have found Linode.
We run a lean shop so being able to boast 100% availability is not just for marketing, but also leads us to being able to serve way more customers with way less support staff.
If you have an IT team comfortable with managing your own deployments and images, Linode is excellent for getting A LOT done with great pricing. Linode is not for you if you are looking for "one-click deployments" and pay for a lot of different microservices.
