Overall Satisfaction with Linode

We are using Linode to solve different needs in multiple departments. It is used for main product and multiple PoCs. We even use it to support our education and on-boarding activities.

Pros

  • Managing the virtual machines
  • Provide security recomentations
  • Documentation that cover versatile domains and topics

Cons

  • Integration with other monitoring systems
  • Predefined packed solutions
  • For us Linode have good ROI and it's the same for our clients as well
  • By using Linode we manage to answer quickly to react on customer needs that need great availability at fixed cost
Linode give more control and flexibility.
I have only couple of interaction with Linode support and they were always responsive and quickly solve my issues.
Linode is great if you need VPS operating 24/7 while it's somehow more complicated if you want to have VPS active in smaller chunks of the day.
