Overall Satisfaction with Linode
atanda web presence services is a boutique Internet service provider. We use Linode virtual machines in several regions in the provision of web and email hosting services to American and European small businesses and creative individuals. Linode provides stable and reliable high-performance platforms for our LAMP environments to run on. In addition, their technical customer service, when required, is friendly, professional, and dedicated to getting problems solved quickly and completely.
- Linode virtual machines are easy to set up and maintain.
- Linode support services, when needed, are prompt, professional, and thorough.
- Linode provides a cost-effective solution for cloud-based services.
- Nothing to see here...
- Linode virtual machines are more cost effective than owning and maintaining physical hardware and procuring industrial Internet bandwidth.
- Rackspace Cloud Hosting and Amazon Web Services
Setup and management of Linode services were just simpler than similar services from Rackspace or Amazon Web Services, both of which are cumbersome and confusing to the point of frustration.
Prior to our switch to Linode, we were maintaining our own hardware on expensive local high-speed network connections. Using multiple Linodes for hosting services reduced our operating expenses by at least 50%, and our technical maintenance time and cost by almost 100%.
As a hosting services provider, we need our infrastructure to be highly reliable. Linode-initiated downtime has been minimal, giving our clients a high degree of assurance of service availability.
