Usability

I think the templates are great but are not easy to manipulate if the current structure is not exactly what you want.
The import options are limited when you want to add a lot of elements at the same time

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to create diagrams of customers' product flow and help visualize the connection between components in our product, both externally and internally.
When we need to help customers' "see" a plan of action, that is usually very complex to just articulate, showing them the process and how elements connect to one another is a great way to get buy-in and collaboration. Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite helps me create these visualizations that I can share with customers and make sure everyone is aligned.
Additionally, we can use the app to create org charts and dependency diagrams.

Pros

Integrate with google suite
enables different types of diagrams
have templates to help start creating a diagram or a visual

Cons

The google integration is not smooth
There are only a few options to import many elements at the same time, and their type is limited
the template are not always easy to manipulate if the original structure is not exactly what you need

Return on Investment

Helped show customers what the process will looks like and they their understanding fast
enables to have a "one source of truth" as visuals are easy to explain and verify it is understood.

Integrations

We use the google integration and it enables us to easily share visuals and diagrams within the team as well with external customers

Reliability

It is very easy to collaborate in real time and discuss the changes in real time.
You can see what others are changing and can track changes easily

When you need to create a diagram or a visual to illustrate a had topic.
When you want to show dependencies and connections between elements.
When you want to be able to share the content using google workspace.

It is less appropriate, if you do not have a vision in mind for what visual is would like to have.
