Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

It is intuitive, as I, for example, did not watch a video, read instructions, or take long to understand how it works. However, I think it can improve in terms of usability. For example, I could not find a template for the diagram I wanted to create, and it took me a bit to find out how to create it from scratch. I'm also disappointed that it does not allow for copying and pasting.
I used Lucidchart to create a complex diagram for a research project I am working on. I needed a thematic analysis map, which I could not create in Word where I was writing the research project .... After completing a thematic analysis for my project, I needed to make a map to illustrate the results, and this is what I used Lucidchart for.
  • Create diagrams
  • Make organisational charts
  • Visually represent points
  • It's hard to change the direction of lines on a diagram (eg move 20 degrees to left)
  • Would like to see more colours available
  • Cannot copy and paste
  • Better illustration of my results
  • Aesthetically enhanced my research report
  • Allowed me to hand in my project more quickly
I have not used it in combination with any of those applications and would probably not have needed this function for my specific job role and projects I am working on. However, it sounds handy that this is an option, especially the Google and Microsoft applications. However, I can see how it would benefit other job roles in my organization, ... such as managers.
I have not needed any support so I cannot give a rating.

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
It would be useful when making a PowerPoint presentation for illustrating research results with complex diagrams when making organizational charts for one's business. I have seen that it is less appropriate for graphic designers or video makers or people who want to make very elaborate and artistic designs.
