Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

Designing process flows and models for years using Excel and Powerpoint, Lucidchart made it very easy to put the ink down to paper, and I do not lose time or train of thought due to weird aesthetics, which takes time to correct. Simple grid background and an expanding canvas make it easy to expand the project scope.
We are using Lucidchart to model systems and processes for general discussions as well as high-level reviews. My team is presenting using Lucidchart to the entire organization from top to bottom.

  • Can be simple but easily scale for complex presentations
  • The scrolling function is not responsive at times.
  • Selecting items and formatting multiple blocks is not consistent.
  • Some options are hard to find, example changing termination points.
  • Productivity, less time spent on aligning and cleaning up for presentations
  • Professionalism, just a better presentation
  • Intuitive design, ready to go in minutes
Lucidchart is connected to GDrive, where I'm currently utilizing the system. It's great that it is already where everything is on the cloud, but does not make it easy for me to save a local drive though this could be company-specific.

Not a fair comparison, I still like Excel and Powerpoint, but I much enjoyed Lucidchart for creating process content.
Lucidchart is much easier than Excel or Powerpoint for process flow and presentation purposes. Shape snap on, and connections are easy to make and a clean streamline output.
