Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

I found Lucidchart to be easy to use and navigate; however, I see that it may pose some difficulty to users who may be more technologically challenged.
It was used by our marketing department to create flowcharts for our mergers and acquisition presentations. Lucidchart was much more user-friendly and easier to use than the existing flowchart creator in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. We also used Lucidchart to create flowcharts to present our digital campaign strategy to the executive team. Lucidchart allowed us to create beautiful and easy-to-understand diagrams.

  • Easy to use, even for those who have no design experience
  • Able to export in multiple file formats
  • Wish we could right-click on boxes and easily convert the shape
  • Wish we could copy and paste layer/box styles
  • Saved us a lot of time when we need to create quick work
We actually did not know Lucidchart was compatible with Salesforce, Microsoft, etc., so we did not test it out.

Lucidchart is best for creating quick flowcharts, especially when the turnaround time is less than one hour. It's also great for complex flowcharts or when I don't know the exact flow yet and need to think it out as I'm creating it. Lucidchart is not best for beautiful flowcharts. If I already know all the exact steps and details and need to present the work to an external client, I will create the flowchart in a design program instead.
