Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

Very easy to jump in and good, digestible training materials provided. Some elements (such as sharing options/comments) can be a bit unintuitive.
Many users in my organization use Lucid for many different reasons spanning from Design/UX, technical flows, diagramming for training/ops purposes, and organizing and displaying data sets. As a company amidst a rebranding, Lucid allows us to visually portray and modify complex process flows that are constantly changing due to new incoming information and challenges. On the design thinking side of the house, it allows us to collaboratively reach decisions, prioritize and brainstorm new ideas in a group setting.

  • Sharing settings/link sharing is not intuitive or user friendly
  • Comments are easy to get lost and often hard to find
  • Using Lucidchart internally has helped us shave off months of "Discovery time" that we would otherwise be paying a third party company to perform (and is more accurate as well).
  • Using Lucidchart to display communication touch points throughout the customer journey allowed our communication team to communicate with our engineers in a way that was familiar/understandable for them.
  • Adding in layers to our Lucidcharts allowed us to map out multiple different potential journeys within the same process flow without having an overly complex document to work off of.
We have used Lucid to upload data from Google Sheets directly into digestible visual representations, which we would have otherwise needed to manually input/create.
Training materials and support materials are digestible and easy to read. I have never had to work directly with Lucid support team.

Yes

Lucidchart is great for displaying simple or complex process flows, being used for design thinking exercises, brainstorming activities and visualizing data. We use it frequently to also include diagramming and visual aids into our training materials more effectively than text training guides or SOPs. Easy to be used by both our Ops teams as well as the tech side of the house.
