Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark

I use lucid spark to collaborate and plan out research goals and ideas with a collaborator. The software allows us to organize our thoughts effectively and efficiently in person or remotely. I like how everyone can participate in the discussion and add their ideas to the board for everyone else to see and consider. We use the product in meetings to discuss the current and future goals of the research we are conducting.

  • Collaboration - Everyone is able to see what others are working on and thinking about.
  • Brainstorming - We are able to critically think about and share new concepts easily.
  • Arrows and lines between items can be hard to manage at times.
  • Easier to organize thoughts and everyone is more involved and engaged.
  • Easy to read vs. handwritten notes alternative
  • Collaborative and easy to use tool to share ideas.
I was able to understand how to use it right away. I think there is always a barrier to entry to products, and I am still learning new features;h however, this was simple o get started with overall.
I have had projects shared with me through links to Google Drive. This makes it easy to share ideas with people or share what was discussed in the meeting for reference. I have not implemented it with Slack yet, but that sounds like a very useful tool as well.
It is very reliable and has made online collaboration a lot easier to navigate. Using the software has helped mitigate the negative effects of not being able to meet in person. The overall performance has been really great.
I haven't needed support. I have received emails from the team about the product.

I haven't used alternatives to this. I don't see a need to at this time.
I use it to plan and discuss research goals. We outline algorithms and brainstorm alternative approaches. It is really helpful to lay out the overall goals and objectives of a project. We also use it to brainstorm ideas and new programmatic algorithms. It would be really useful to copy code samples into the software especially if there is a way to have it formatted like code.
