Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark

This is a great collaboration tool with clients. I work for a consulting company so I am constantly using this to convey big ideas and concepts to clients. I also use it for my own analysis and brainstorming when I first start understanding and organizing the "problem/opportunity" into potential solutions and approaches. This is vital in a now (almost completely) virtual world. Every client I use this tool with is so pleased with the process and the results

  • Easy to use.
  • Best way to communicate visually.
  • Sometimes I wish it would have more of the templates from Lucidchart. I love the quicky stickie function and use it all the time. It is a little cumbersome if you would like to keep a board (and breakout boards) that illustrate a day's worth of ideas.
  • I think this tool is best used to align understanding and expectations. This saves time and money for clients.
It is so easy to get started when you first open the application. There is a tutorial option and I might have looked at it a couple of times when I was first using LucidSpark (early adopter). Now everything seems to be intuitive. I've recently started using breakout boards to keep client sessions together.
We use Slack internally but don't necessarily use it with clients as not all clients have Slack. However, I do use Lucidspark and chart together a lot. Absolutely love the ease of use. I set up team folders for different clients. One way to keep all work together and grant "collaborator" access to different client organizations.
As mentioned earlier, this is my go-to tool for collaborating with clients.
I have used some of the tutorials and will browse a bit. However, I haven't really needed much support. It is so intuitive.

Lucid (Spark/chart) are my go-to tools. Any new analyst that starts on my team is encouraged to use these tools with their clients. I have even used the mind-mapping function with a CEO early in the project. He told me once he "printed it out" and kept it at his desk to reference daily. In my opinion, it is a powerful tool to help align understanding across multiple stakeholders. I will frequently use Lucidspark (quicky stickie) to take notes "live" while sharing my screen with stakeholders. They absolutely love seeing their ideas displayed back to them. Once the stickies are on the board, we can start categorizing and prioritizing. I also use the board frequently for user story mapping. Partially because of the ease of the quicky stickies. So easy to identify epics, features, stories at a high enough level that clients can better understand the overall scope of their request.
