Overall Satisfaction with ManageEngine ADAudit Plus

As a public company we need to be able to provide evidence of changes and ADAudit has save us many hours of searching for ways to provide this. From an operational point of view being able to search and find who, when, and what changed again saves man hours when trying to figure out instances where there is a mistake or question about why a persons access was changed.

  • High impact on ability to track and remediate inappropriate AD changes
Customizable reports make a huge difference in analyzing access and user information quickly. I can request a report on almost any aspect of AD from who is in a user group to any other AD attribute and get it in a matter of minutes.
The business often requests information on location and access for end users to validate correct location and access. Being able to respond quickly and accurately has made us much more efficient and confident in helping to organize the workforce.
This visibility has be big for us due to continual requests for evidence from our Audit teams. It just makes it easier and more authentic for them than digging through server logs.
Definitely of assistance on compliance. Easy to customize reporting for our security and access reviews as well as access change management testing. As a public company we have very stringent access controls and are audited frequently. ADAudit Plus makes this gathering AD related evidence very easy.
It did help with auditing and tracking compliance. Not seeing much improvement in detecting real time threats but also haven't attempted to leverage it in that way.
ADAudit had a better ability to easily customize reports. Also the interface was snappier. Netrix was kind of clunky to use and not as intuitive.
ADAudit Plus support is actually pretty good. They are responsive and dig in pretty deep when you have an issue. Even on the occasional issue with an upgrade, we have received detailed assistance in getting past the issue. We use several other Manage Engine products and this has been consistent across the other applications as well. Definitely got to level 3 assistance quickly.
