Overall Satisfaction with ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager Plus

I like how easily I can manage endpoint policies. One of my favorite features is the ability to mark a device as stolen and then perform a remote wipe. I also like how I'am able to create templates and deploy them per device. One of the best features is the ability to add devices to my platform via a QR code.

Pros

  • Ease of Deployment of Devices.
  • Per Device User Tracking.
  • Templates are easy to create and deploy.

Cons

  • Apple Deployment is slightly buggy.
  • Sometimes the WIFI credentials are not taken.
  • Updating Apps isn't the easiest.
  • ROI is great as you can recover 100% of loss or stolen devices.
  • ABM and MDM work seamless together.
  • Being able to Manage all types of devices is a big plus.
Overall, I like using MDM as the GUI is greatly easier to use. The navigation is very simple, as you can find your way using multiple routes. I like how the opening dashboard shows devices and users, so you can see your numbers grow or shrink.
We looked at using ABE, but given ManageGiven the engine's ease of use and other applications, we decided to go with MDM instead, which we like a lot. If you want an all-inclusive platform, I recommend Manage Engine MDM.

ManageEngine MDM is best suited for deploying and managing multiple devices remotely. Where it is less appropriate is when adding Apple devices: the QR code sometimes does not work properly, and you need to set up an MDM server, whereas the Android addition works just fine.
