Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are brand new users. We only recently signed the contract, and will use this summer as an opportunity to train our team and integrate Marketo into our systems. This conference was an opportunity to learn more about Marketo. The conference is impeccably executed - has wonderful presenters - and made a wonderful first impression.

Pros and Cons

Wonderful...marketing, event planning, organization of the conference, I can't speak to anything else as we are brand new customers

I'd like to see a smaller conference or a subset of the conference for smaller companies/organizations that would like to use Marketo to scale. A lot of what I've learned does not feel like it will be easily translatable to our small organization.

Alternatives Considered

Marketo is more ambitious - it's focused on being a thought leader and culture driver, and making huge impact on the marketing and tech worlds.

Likelihood to Recommend

Time will tell, I'm curious to see if Marketo can't be scaled down - which I know is the opposite of what its martech plan is all about - it's about scaling big, artificial intelligence. Development, fundraising, and higher education is all about personal relationships so I'm excited to see where a 'big company' mentality can positively influence our small organization needs.
