Overall Satisfaction with Marketo

We use Marketo to deliver the appropriate message to each individual customer when and where they are looking for it. We are also able to use Marketo to deliver only the "hot" leads to sales, while nurturing the remainder of leads until they are ready to be contacted by sales.

Pros

  • Capturing data on "unknown" leads and applying that data to the lead's record upon identification.
  • Lead scoring and complex routing.
  • Lead history.
  • Personalization.

Cons

  • Speed - overall software is pretty sluggish.
  • Provide pre-packaged reporting functionality.
It doesn't really do the same thing.
Best suited for companies who want to learn more about their customers and create 1-2-1 communications with their customers based on what they want to hear and when they want to hear it. Great tool for moving customers along their journey at their own speed.
