Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Documents and Training modules currently. We are setting up classes currently and looking forward to reap the benefits of not having to use docusign for instructor lead training.

Pros

Review Policy(new update with custom packet)
Training Tasks are straight forward
New Document creation with templates

Cons

Collaboration Workspace more end user friendly(more obvious what to click next)
Help file to define functionality of the options when setting up a class ex. Initial Training (if this is in there needs to be easier to find as of right now I only see a screenshot of the options)
SSO working with use password as e-signature( I see this just went into Dev Ops so hopefully gets pushed out soon)

Return on Investment

Dont have numbers or exact data to report but it is positive impact to other options. We are making changes to the system setup to make things more efficient this upcoming year

Usability

I have been hearing the quarterly upgrades have been buggy and full of defects. However, the annual upgrades have proven to be much more stable with fewer defects that have affected our environment.

Alternatives Considered

Veeva CRM, Veeva Clinical Platform and Veeva Vault Quality

so far Veeva seems to be more user friendly, more robust functionality, and good quality but 3 or 4 times the cost. MasterControl Quality Excellence is good quality, decent amount of functionality and much better bang for your buck.

I am pleased with overall functionality and quality of MasterControl and price as well. I have looked at 2 other systems and MasterControl is the best bang for your buck.
