I use the platform on a daily basis to monitor news, create relationships with reporters, send press releases and track metrics, and create benchmarking against other peer groups to further refine strategy. It is just used within my department - the Advocacy department - though I do believe other departments would benefit if they integrated Meltwater [Media Intelligence Platform] into their daily tasks. We do not yet utilize the social media tracking abilities, but it is a growth plan for us, and I am excited to begin making use of Meltwater Media Intelligence Platform's capabilities in that arena.

The platform is excellent for a time-bound understanding of relevant headlines, and in fact, I utilize that capability on a daily, if not multi-day, basis. It is less appropriate when an organization has a need to send numerous wire releases because Meltwater [Media Intelligence Platform] allows customers only a set number over a specific time period.
