Overall Satisfaction with Memsource

I've been using the free version of Memsource for many years. This software has all the functionalities required to achieve a high-quality translation. It shares the same features as other expensive CAT tools in the market and provides the same efficiency. I can upload my large TM, add my projects and files, and select the pair of languages. As it is cloud-based, it's very handy at any moment, with any PC, wherever you are. Honestly, I've never had to write about any bug. It has worked smoothly all throughout.
  • Nice interface
  • Easy to use
  • Complete functionalities
  • Cloud-based accesibility
  • Zero down-time
  • When editing a translation and performing the search for a word or phrase, you need to use the browser F3 function, and if the item to be found is beyond the text currently displayed on the screen, you need to scroll down to load more text. This is the usual disadvantage of cloud-based CAT tools.
  • Cloud-based
  • Economically accessible
  • Good performance
  • Complete functionality
  • Memsource has allowed me to save a lot of money, as I haven't needed to upgrade my computer-based software anymore.
  • It's always andy on any PC. You can even download their editor on any PC if you wish.
Memsource is simpler, cheaper, has all the same functions, and has been cloud-based long before Trados launched its cloud-based version.

I recommend the free version of Memsource for translators processing small to middle-sized files, and would definitely recommend upgrading if the need to process larger files arise. I have not yet used the Team version, but I guess it runs with the same efficiency.
