We as a organization use Microsoft 365 Defender in various ways like as a endpoint solution for prevention against attacks like phishing, malware attacks. We also use it for investigation, response, detection tool to prevent the attack from happening and to secure the data of our customers. Personally, I have to say that Microsoft 365 Defender is one of the most robust, secure and trust worthy product to secure the customer data and prevent their identity.

- The Microsoft 365 Defender is very useful in detecting the threat events.
- Due to it's timely detection of threat events one can determine the scope of the treat and also make a plan to prevent it before it can happen.
- It is also work very impressively in preventing the users data and identity across multiple applications from being exposed.
Cons
- Microsoft 365 Defenders risk assessment and remediation tool can be improved while tackling and preventing the attack.
- As there are multiple new attacks are getting discovered to prevent and remediate those attacks the Microsoft 365 Defenders database should be keep updated and ready.
- The Microsoft 365 Defenders capability to identify the insider attacker can be improved.
- Automate response generated to remediate the attack can be strengthen.
- We as a organization are pretty pleased with the Microsoft 365 Defender work as it has solve the numerous problem for us.
- It is a strong and robust tool to prevent the attacks from happening and heal from those attacks across all application.

The challenges we faces while implementing the Microsoft 365 Defender is the core understanding of the product and how it handles and prevent the attacks. The more we dig deep the more we get to know the Microsoft 365 Defender and utilized it in it's full potential so as to use it fully in the great cause of our organization.
The Microsoft 365 Defender has changed the whole belief of our security team in handling, detecting and preventing the multiple attacks all over the applications. The team is so pleased and happy with the implementation of Microsoft 365 Defender in our organization's structure, also the fact that the customer is happy with our service to him while providing security to their data is second to none.
Yes, we are currently using the automated response of Microsoft 365 Defender in our organization and it is very good and very much up to the mark. As I stated before the automated response has a scope of improvement in some of the areas while handling the attack and healing the damaged parts.
No, we are not yet connecting the Microsoft 365 Defender data to Microsoft sentinel or any other platform but we are planning in the future to implement such thing in our organization and see how it does improve our overall business.
As compare to the FortiAuthenticator and FortiSIEM the Microsoft 365 Defender has been standout performer while handling, detecting the preventing the attacks. The Microsoft 365 Defender is very good in analyzing the critical event and detecting the attacks and it's scope before it happens. Also the remediation steps performed by the Microsoft 365 Defender is far more better than expected.
