Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Access allows for customized reporting and to bridge the gap in reporting needs not provided by other BI solutions at my company.

Alternatives Considered

In comparison to Cognos and SAP Business Objects I would say access has a lot more flexibility. This can be both good and bad depending on the type of user.

Likelihood to Renew

I use Access on a daily basis and do not see that changing anytime soon.

Likelihood to Recommend

I would say storage and backup of Access data is an issue so I would make sure the data is stored and backed up elsewhere.
