Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Azure Active Directory
Across the whole organization - globally in US, Asia and Europe
Pros
- SSO authentication for multiple applications
- Data access policies
- Built in replication and redundancy across Domain Controllers
Cons
- MFA capabilities can be further improved
- License costs are high
- Implementation time is long with limited integrator expertise available
- Support from Microsoft technical team
- SSO Authentication
- Access Management
- B2B partners with Guest logon
- Policy-based administration
- Positive in O365 and other MS products context - Good ROI
- Overall implementing External Identity Management with MS Active Directory B2C and B2B implementation
- Federated Identity Management for Cloud scenarios has brought a good ROI
OKTA is the best of the breed followed by Ping and followed by MS Active Directory. OKTA is most suitable for complex enterprise IAM usage scenarios for both Internal Identities and B2B and B2C context. OKTA is much advanced and complete whilst PING is also a strong product in IAM space. MS Active directory has to catch up in IAM space.
