Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
We use the product to defend against threats, our corporate managed devices from malware to anything to unimproved software.
- This product does really well on the integration with the other Microsoft products such as Sentinel Defender for cloud apps. So they all talk to each other very well.
- It could have room for improvement for the time to update from the client machine to the cloud portal. It's not bad, but it takes a while for it to update the configurations.
- It's been positive for the most part. It's reduced the overhead burden on our operational teams.
- Ease of Use
Costs. We were already an E five license holder, so it made sense to go with something that was already included with our license.
Usually for detection and remediation of malware as well as compliance for policies and versions of the operating system.
I would ballpark it around 10,000. We're securing Windows 11.
We've evaluated this against end game and silence. It's comparable in terms of remediating threats, but as terms of management of the product it's not as easy because we have to check in two different portals versus just one portal for everything Microsoft.
