Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
We use it to defend endpoints. It's our antivirus and anti-malware software. The use case is just to protect those endpoints.
Pros
- It actually has a very low false positive rate, so it gets cuts off. We hope all the viruses.
Cons
- That's a tough one. So the things that are hard to use are getting the devices enrolled in the cloud-based environment.
- The positive impact is that it does indeed catch viruses and it keeps us out of trouble. It keeps viruses off the machines.
- Integration with Other Systems
The factor that most important decision was that it's integrated into the operating system. I've talked to a lot of other security professionals and we believe that it is less likely that an adversary can disconnect Defender for Endpoint and get around it versus other products where they can do that.
Right now we're using the antivirus and anti-malware.
600 and it's all Windows.
Used Carbon Black and Endpoint Management. I've tested the Palo Alto's Traps product. And then again, the Microsoft product, it works well because it's integrated into the operating system, so there's a lot less work to do to get it up and running.
