Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
I mean essentially it's just making sure that no one does anything really stupid and it just provides us with some extra security and mostly for firewalls and supply that.
Pros
- I dunno, that's quite a tricky question. I mean, mostly it just kind of sits there quietly and you don't really notice it. It seems to adapt quite well to whatever you're doing, so you're never sat there going, "the service won't work and it turns out it's a firewall issue." Actually it seems to be sawed and fine.
Cons
- I'll be honest, as a very techie person, I'd probably a little bit more control over exactly what it's doing and rather than it all being automated. So there are things I want to do where I just be like, "Ryan, I'm just going to have to turn this off, do the thing I need to do and then turn it back on again."
- I mean in the sense that one of our business objectives is to make sure that we don't, we protected ourselves against threats. It's been great for that.
- Other
I'll be honest, I'm not really sure if I could answer that one to be honest. Sorry.
Probably about five. Well actually no, let's make that four because one of them is solely a Linux guy and he'd use it. So we've got one Linux and four Windows. We're all kinds of end users.
I don't think, it's not really something that we were just using Microsoft and it was just an easy thing to do.
