Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft IIS
In my department we are using Microsoft IIS on Window Server 2012 R2 for several internal web site and web service. Most of those applications are written in ASP .NET and with ISS very easy to publish.
- Ease websites deployment
- Strong integration Microsoft SQL
- Microsoft Active Directory Authentication
- Poor security
- Application pools difficulties
- Integrated Windows Authentication
- NET support
- For sure help you to publish your applications in few minutes
- Not very well securized for public purpose
Microsoft IIS is more simple to configure and also to maintain against other solutions. Often IIS help me to troubleshoot with its administartive tool.
